Sarah, I'm so glad you taught yourselves how to knit! I wish Addie were older, so I could have her learn, too! Someday . . . I just learned how to knit about 1 1/2 years ago, and that gave me courage to try sewing last year, and now I wonder what I'd do in my free time without it!
Also--I'm not terribly slim. In fact, I'm getting less slim every year. But THANK YOU! for thinking that I am. I think I'll go eat a cookie and celebrate :)
I came over here from In The Midst of It , when I saw your comment. My daughters and I taught ourselevs how to knit this past year, too, and it is so fun to learn something with my girls:-)
